Hi there,

My name is Bria, and I love being a Speech-Language Pathologist. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in 2017 and my Master’s degree in 2019 from Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi.

I have more than 5 years of experience as a pediatric speech therapist in various settings, including elementary schools, high schools, ABA clinics, and now private practice.

Speech Up was founded in the fall of 2023 with the primary goal of providing children with the necessary and deserved help, while also focusing on offering families the support and education they require. I strongly believe that both quality speech therapy and quality parent coaching are essential.

I have devoted myself to becoming the best therapist for all my clients and their families. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our mini goldendoodle, Snow.

    Your child will participate in a comprehensive evaluation. We will gather information about your child's strengths and weaknesses through standardized testing, parent interviews, checklists, conversation, and play. You will receive a full report that includes recommendations and goals.

  • Language Therapy

    Your child will receive individualized language therapy, especially in expressive, receptive, and social pragmatic language.

    Language therapy can be beneficial for late talkers, Autistic children, and early preschool-aged children.

  • Parent Coaching

    Not only do we love serving children, but we equally love supporting parents and guardians in providing their children with a language-rich environment.

    We provide virtual parent coaching to discuss child-led play-based strategies to support their child!

  • Teletherapy

    Want your child to receive services in the comfort of their own home? Do you want to be involved in your child’s speech therapy? We offer teletherapy services!

  • ARD/IEP Consultation

    Do you need help advocating for your child’s needs in their ARD/IEP? Would you like a skilled speech therapist to attend your child’s ARD meeting? Do you need help knowing what to ask for in ARD/IEP meetings? We can help with that!

  • High School Social group

    High School Social Group

    We specialize in working with older students. We offer social-language groups for neurodivergent high school individuals. Our groups focus on advocacy, perspective-taking, social cues, etc. This service is based on group availability.
